Originally Violet was written much more sort of goth and then about three quarters out of the way through he [Ryan] sort of changed her and we took that character aspect down to the character but what was really fun is Taissa, this was her first audition, she has done one role on a film that her sister produced but she hadn’t audition for, so this was her first audition and I was blown away by her. - Eric Dawson [Casting Director]  [x]

honestly, i think the only thing on ahs that has truly made me feel horrified was the look on violet’s face when she sees her decomposing corpse. like, jesus. just put yourself in her situation, and that absolutely chills me to the core.
